I am a glaciologist whose research focuses on investigating the impact of past and future climate change on Earth’s cryosphere, with a primary focus on Antarctica. Using field observations combined with satellite data and numerical modeling, I investigate controls of glacier melt, snow accumulation and dynamics, which are key to understanding future global sea-level rise. The upcoming 2026/27 Antarctic field season will be my eighth, and I also have extensive fieldwork experience in Greenland, Svalbard, the Himalayas, and the European Alps.
